The South African Police Service in Makuya is investigating a missing case after a pensioner disappeared with no trace. Thivhadini Gerson Tshivhanda (79) of Tshitavha village went missing on the 19 August 2021.
It is alleged that on 19 August 2021 at about 06:45, the nephew who shares the residence with the missing pensioner woke up in the morning and discovered that the victim was not in his room in the house. The nephew then called the victim’s son who came and they searched around and he was nowhere to be found.
The police were notified and the search was extended to close friends, family around the villages places he frequents to visit, and the nearby bushes but the old man’s whereabouts could not be established.
He is dark in complexion, medium built, with a bald head, and was seen wearing brown trousers and a black and white striped Jersey.
