Residents of Verulam, KZN are urged to be on high alert due to the increase in the theft of driveway gate motors.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out at approximately 06:23 to a property on Tensing Way in Everest Heights, Verulam this morning (Tuesday) after a suspect was noticed tampering with the driveway gate motor. On arrival of Reaction Officers the suspect had fled leaving the gate motor behind.
Reaction Officers have in recent weeks attended to several callouts where driveway gate motors have been stolen.
