A 67-year-old male was arrested last night for possession of an unlicensed firearm at Bomapass Village in Kieskammahoek.
Police swiftly responded to information they received about a man that is in possession of a firearm at Kieskammahoek. They went to his home and recovered a pistol and two live rounds. He was charged for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
He is due to appear in the Kieskammahoek Magistrate Court tomorrow.
