A 35-year-old truck driver was arrested on Sunday, 07 March 2020 for possession of dagga during a vehicle checkpoint on the N14 road.
The police were going through all the vehicles coming through the VCP and upon searching one of the trucks they found dagga to the value of R231 406-00 stashed behind the seat. The driver is detained and will soon appear in court.
The members under the command of Captain Gerrit Mouton were commended for a job well done.
