With drug-related crime categorised as a priority in this province, members attached to the Provincial Integrated Team operationalised intelligence passed on to them from their Crime Intelligence counterparts and conducted a search operation at an identified drug house in Wallacedene, Kraaifontein late last night.
The information turned out to be spot-on when a 44-year-old female drug dealer was arrested in possession of dagga with a street value exceeding R6 000-00 and R27 843-00 cash, believed to be the proceeds of her drug trade.
She is expected to face the charge of dealing in drugs against her in the Blue Downs Magistrates’ court today.
