A male pedestrian sustained critical injuries following a vehicle knockdown on the corners of Westinghouse blvd and Barrage road in Vanderbijlpark last night.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 23h00, they found the man lying in the road. Upon further assessment, it was found that the man had sustained critical injuries and advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated before paramedics transported the man to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known, but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
