Eight people luckily escaped with minor injuries only after a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Berea Road and Essenwood road in Glenwood in the early hours of Friday morning.
ER24 Durban paramedics arrived on scene to find a Opel Corsa had collided with a Chevrolet Spark causing it to roll. The seven occupants of the Chevrolet sustained only minor soft tissue injuries and freed themselves from the wreckage. The driver who was believed to be the only occupant of the Opel sustained minor injuries also. All were assessed and treated on scene by paramedics.
The cause of the collision is unknown and necessary authorities are investigating further.
