A friend emailed photos to the Arrive Alive website of a crash tonight where a Hyundai bakkie crashed into a municipal vehicle that either broke down or was parked in the middle of the road. There were no visible traffic cones at the front of the vehicle. Road users should be alert to this clear and visible warning of the dangers of breakdowns at night and failure to effectively secure the scene and warn other road users. [Photos by Nico Odendal]
