A truck driver believed to be in his fifties has died in a freak accident after he was killed by his truck that had rolled forward and pinned him to ground by the back wheels.
ER24 paramedics and other emergency personnel arrived on the scene in Killarney Gardens and found the tipper truck with the bin still open and the alleged driver wedged underneath the back wheels of the truck. Paramedics assessed the patient and found he had suffered very traumatic and fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene.
The circumstances around the accident would be investigated by the local law enforcement authorities.
