A driver had a narrow escape after his light motor vehicle that he was travelling in caught a light on Golf Road in Pietermaritzburg this morning.
ER24 rushed to the scene and found the driver standing on the other side of the road, while his car was totally engulfed in flames. The driver was examined and found that he had not suffered any injuries or any smoke inhalation. While the paramedics were examining the driver, the Fire Department arrived on the scene and where able to extinguish the vehicle.
