An intelligence-driven clamp-down operation on Thursday night (04 October 2018), spearheaded by a multi-disciplinary team comprising of the SAPS specialised provincial Counter-Narcotics, the South African Narcortics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB), the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigations (DPCI) and the K-9, has led to the arrest of three suspected drug dealers in Eldorado Park.
The two male suspects aged 33 and 42, have been linked to four previous cases of drug dealing and also featured on the police’s list of wanted suspects. The third suspect is a 41-year old female.
Drugs (CAT and Crystal Meth) whose value is yet to be determined, were recovered during the operation.
Police management in Gauteng has welcomed the arrest of the trio as police continue to collaborate with communities in cleaning up the streets of Gauteng from drugs and other crimes.
