Three people were injured following a side impact collision on Watson Highway in the vicinity of King Shaka International Airport – KZN a short while ago.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by passing motorists reporting the accident. Upon arrival 3 occupants of a Datsun Go were being treated by medics from a private ambulance service for injuries they sustained in the collision.
It is alleged that the Datsun Go was travelling in the direction of Tongaat when a Renault Sandero attempted to turn into a link road leading to the airport. The Renault Sandero then collided into the side of the Datsun Go.
The injured were transported to Osindisweni Hospital for further medical attention.
