Yesterday afternoon at 17h30 Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian crash on the N1 south near the Zambezi off ramp. Reports from the scene indicate that the man in his late fifties tried to run across the highway when he was hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the highway, tragically he had died due to the extensive injuries that he sustained. Traffic in that area was backed up for a long time as Police conducted their investigation.
