Three people were injured today when a truck allegedly collided with a barrier and flipped on the N1 near the Maraisburg Bridge.
Two people were ejected from the vehicle when it flipped over and another patient was entrapped in the truck. One person sustained critical injuries and was airlifted by AER24 to a nearby hospital for further treatment. This patient ‘s injuries included a possible fractured pelvis.
The other two patients sustained serious injuries and were treated and transported by ER24 paramedics.
The cause of the collision is still to be determined. Authorities were on scene.
