Fuchs’ TITAN GT1 EVO SAE 0W-20 has become one of the world’s first engine oils to be approved for the new BMW specification Longlife-14 FE+.
As a pioneer of 0W-20 engine oils with the world’s first zinc-free 0W-20, Fuchs has consistently developed and refined its additive technology and combined it with the state-of-the-art XTL technology resulting in a top-grade SAE 0W-20 engine oil.
FUCHS says TITAN GT1 EVO SAE 0W-20 currently represents the absolute pinnacle of engine oil development. It not only impresses in basic requirements such as wear protection and resistance to aging – it also sets new standards in the topical subjects of compatibility with bio-fuels and reducing consumption and CO2 emissions.
TITAN GT1 EVO SAE 0W-20 was developed specifically for use in the latest generation of BMW petrol engines – N20, inline 4-cylinder, 2.0 l, turbocharging – and subjected to extensive tests by BMW. This engine was initially fitted in the X1 xDrive28i, replacing the 6-cylinder engine used previously. Today, it is used throughout the entire BMW model range with an output of between 154 and 242 bhp.
TITAN GT1 EVO SAE 0W-20 is also used as a reference oil for the development of future BMW gasoline engine generations.
As the world’s first product on the aftermarket to be approved in accordance with the new BMW specification Longlife-14 FE+, TITAN GT1 EVO SAE 0W-20 will soon be available from authorised Fuchs retail partners.
