An articulated truck driver was seriously injured when his cab, which was not carrying a load, left the M13 Durban bound carriageway near Shongweni before overturning.
The vehicle came to rest in the grassed centre median on its side. The driver sustained possible head and spinal injuries and was treated by Netcare911 Advanced Life Support Paramedic Garrith Jamieson and his team before he was transported by EMRS ambulance to the Netcare St Augustine’s Hospital for further medical care.

what’s the cause of the accident? its really risky to be a truck driver, that’s why drivers should practice safe driving at all time and must be stay awake and alert to avoid accidents like this. i hope the driver is fine by this time.
