It is expected that 2010 will offer tourism opportunities to more than just the inner city hotels and guest houses! Many of the more affluent foreign visitors will also take the opportunity to enjoy an African safari!
With their safety in mind, the Arrive Alive website has added information titled “Guide to safety and driving on safari / driving in the nature reserve” Driving in the wild and nature reserves requires attention not only to pre-planning and safety in uniquely African conditions, but also to aspects such as the need to drive with an emphasis on the safety of animals.
Many of our foreign visitors would prefer to go on guided tours and safaris. Those who decide to rent 4×4’s and self-drive might also be well advised to view the information on “4×4 Off-Road Driving Techniques & Safety”. This could allow them to have a safe 4×4 driving experience and would make them return to Southern Africa!
We will strive to assist all our foreign visitors with safety information when travelling in South Africa – not only on our national roads, but also in the wild – with 4×4 vehicles and in private game reserves and national parks!

Excellent post. These guides should be compulsory reading for anyone driving on our roads and in our National Parks. Not only foreign visitors but our local drivers as well!

Very interesting post.. I can see that you put a lot of hard work on your blog. I’m sure I’d visit here more often. By the way, you might also want to take a look at Vivid racing for performace parts , brake kits , hre rims and other cool auto stuffs.
