Shortly after 4pm Netcare 911 paramedics rushed to the scene of a horrific accident on Edwin Swales near the RTI testing grounds. On arrival paramedics found a 61 year old male slumped over his steering wheel. Paramedic Ceron Lennox ran to assess him however he had already passed away due to his injuries.
On investigating what had happened it was alledged that a bakkie had lost control on the Durban Bound carriage way and come across the centre medium and hit another Bakkie head on. Fortunately no one else was injured in the collision. It is unclear what caused the first vehicle to loose control but SAPS are investigating.

I would just like to let everyone know that Eric had a Heart attack which lead to the vehicle losing control. He was a good man and will be sorely missed, May he rest in peace….
Please if the paramedic who attended to my step father could please contact me for a brief conversation, I would merely like to chat to him about his findings… Thank you kindly
